Croatia, or Hrvatska as it is known locally, is back in the line-up for 2027 as one of our most popular destinations. We’re excited to be joined by a brand new host and member of our Getaway Co. Community, Philip Zecevic, known as Phitzee, who will bring his love for plant-based living and Balkan-inspired creativity to the Getaway throughout the week. With its sparkling coastline, sun-drenched islands, and iconic sites like King’s Landing from Game of Thrones, it is the perfect setting for a week of relaxation, connection, and unforgettable experiences.
During this week-long adventure, we will explore Split, the lively capital of the Dalmatia region, and Dubrovnik, the stunning walled city on the Adriatic. Guests will enjoy guided city tours, a boat trip through the Elaphiti Islands, curated wine tastings, two vegan cooking experiences, and plenty of delicious plant-based meals throughout the week.
Accommodations include the modern and centrally located Time Boutique Hotel Split and the peaceful Hotel Mlini just outside Dubrovnik. Free days include optional activities so you can tailor your experience and make the most of this Croatian Getaway.

Getaway Details
Saturday, May 15th: Check-in at Time Boutique Hotel Split, followed by an opening night dinner party and introductions
Sunday, May 16th: Breakfast at the hotel, guided walking tour of Split with lunch in the city center,
a private Croatian vegan cooking experience in Tugare, and group dinner
Monday, May 17th: Breakfast at the hotel, free time to explore Split (lunch not provided; excursion options available),
vegan cooking experience with Phillip Zecevic, and group dinner
Tuesday, May 18th: Breakfast at the hotel, check-out, and transfer to Dubrovnik.
Stop for a wine tasting and lunch in the Croatian wine region, with a visit to the Saltworks in Ston. Check-in at Hotel Mlini with group dinner
Wednesday, May 19th: Breakfast at the hotel, panoramic lunch, a guided tour of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, and group dinner in Dubrovnik
Thursday, May 20th: Breakfast at the hotel, free time (lunch not provided; excursion options available), group dinner in Mlini
Friday, May 21st: Breakfast at the hotel, private boat tour of the Elaphiti Islands with a homemade lunch
and a special closing night dinner
Saturday, May 22nd: Family breakfast, check-out, and goodbyes

All meals included except lunch on days 3 and 6 to provide the opportunity for free time.
Alcohol is not included except at wine tastings. Optional excursions will be offered during free time.
The Getaway Co. groups are comprised of approximately 15-25 participants of all ages (21+).

AMANDA PERSI
As a PR and event management expert, Amanda has over 20 years of experience working with everyone from Lady Gaga to Kendrick Lamar, to entrepreneurial groups, to corporate teams, and everyone in between! Having planned events and Getaways in North America, Africa, Europe and Asia, she is both The Getaway Co’s founder and go-to inspiration captain!
Philip Zecevic
Philip Zecevic, known as Phitzee, is a London-based plant-based cook and food creator who makes cooking feel simple, enjoyable, and more conscious. Drawing on his Balkan heritage, he reimagines comforting classics like moussaka, filo pies, and baklava with a modern plant-based twist alongside globally inspired dishes. Through his approachable content, he helps people build confidence in the kitchen and reconnect with food, and has been featured in Men’s Health and GQ Magazine, as well as launching his own ajvar and collaborating with leading brands.
MARINO BEBIC
I’m Marino. I was born and raised in Dubrovnik, Croatia and have been working in tourism and exploring my country from a tourists perspective for more than a decade. My goal is to provide special and unique travel experiences that are truly authentic, and allow you to feel the beauty Croatia has to offer. I love to introduce travellers to local traditions and customs, as well as to warm local people to hear their stories.
LIANNE MORROW
Lianne is our Operations and Guest Experience Manager, with a background in hospitality, customer service, event management, and travel and tourism. She ensures every Getaway is executed seamlessly and is the go-to for guest questions. She’s also a former co-owner of a vegan catering business, bringing a touch of creativity and care to everything she does.
