Pasta La Vista Italy 2026

Rolling hills, rosemary lined gardens, twinkling fireflies, adorable cats and sunsets that seem to pause time. There is simply nowhere we would rather be in the early days of summer than the breathtaking landscape of Tuscany. From May 30 to June 6, 2026, that is exactly where you will find us, returning for our seventh unforgettable Getaway in this dreamy destination.

This year we are thrilled to be joined by vegan lifestyle expert Zacchary Bird. His energy, creativity and passion for plant based living make him the perfect companion for this journey, and we could not be more excited to welcome him back to The Getaway Co family.

As always, we will call the enchanting Pensione Vignamaggio our home away from home. Throughout the week, we will wander through the countryside on a day of vegan wine tastings, bask in the kaleidoscopic beauty of Cinque Terre, pay a heartwarming visit to a local farm sanctuary and step back in time during a guided tour of historic Florence. And of course, we will gather for two fun vegan cooking experiences hosted by Zac. 

Each morning we will rise to a bountiful breakfast, and each afternoon and evening we will feast on mouthwatering plant based versions of Italian classics lovingly prepared by our private vegan chef Gabriele Palloni, a true artist in the kitchen.

We can already picture it now. A warm breeze, a glass of local wine in hand and the golden sun dipping below the horizon. We cannot wait to share this magical slice of Italy with you in 2026.

Getaway Details

Saturday, May 30th: Check-in at Pensione Vignamaggio, followed by welcome drinks, an opening dinner party and introductions.
Sunday, May 31st: Breakfast at the hotel, a wine tasting experience with lunch overlooking the beautiful Tuscan hillside, and group dinner at Pensione Vignmaggio.
Monday, June 1st: Breakfast and lunch at Pensione Vignamaggio, a vegan cooking experience with Zacchary Bird followed by group dinner.
Tuesday, June 2nd: Breakfast at the hotel, a day trip into Florence with a guided city tour, free time 
(lunch not provided on this day) and a visit to Ohana farm animal sanctuary with group dinner

Wednesday, June 3rd: Breakfast at the hotel, free time, group lunch at Pensione Vignamaggio, a vegan cooking experience with Zacchary Bird followed by group dinner.
Thursday, June 4th: Breakfast at the hotel, a Cinque Terre excursion with packed lunch, and free time over dinner in Monterosso.
Friday, June 5th: Breakfast at the hotel, free time, lunch at Pensione Vignamaggio, time to pack and enjoy Panzano, special closing night dinner.
Saturday, June 6th: Family breakfast followed by check out and goodbyes.

Our ultimate goal with these activities is to bring groups of like-minded, empathetic people together to connect, learn, grow and be inspired.

Schedule details subject to change.
All meals included except lunch on day 4 and dinner on day 6 to provide the opportunity for free time.
Alcohol is not included except at wine tastings. Optional excursions will be offered during free time.
The Getaway Co. groups are comprised of approximately 15-25 participants of all ages (21+)

As a PR and event management expert, Amanda has over 20 years of experience working with everyone from Lady Gaga to Kendrick Lamar, to entrepreneurial groups, to corporate teams, and everyone in between! Having planned events and Getaways in North America, Africa, Europe and Asia, she is both The Getaway Co’s founder and go-to inspiration captain!

LIANNE MORROW

Lianne is our Operations and Guest Experience Manager, with a background in hospitality, customer service, event management, and travel and tourism. She ensures every Getaway is executed seamlessly and is the go-to for guest questions. She’s also a former co-owner of a vegan catering business, bringing a touch of creativity and care to everything she does.

Zacchary Bird is an Australian vegan chef, cookbook author, recipe developer, and content creator. Known for his playful, indulgent plant-based recipes, he creates vegan versions of comfort foods and shares his knowledge to inspire home cooks and plant-based eaters worldwide.
