Have you been hoping that The Getaway Co. would host another stunning vegan holiday in the Swiss Alps with beautiful views, inspiring new friends and vegan fondue? Well you’re in luck. In 2025, we’re headed to beautiful Brissago, Switzerland to do just that!
Peaks, Valleys and Vegans will take place in beautiful Ticino, a holiday destination befitting a population of central Europeans accustomed to only the most stunning views on the planet. The trip will be hosted by the lovely and talented Farmer Nick, and will include a hike in the Swiss alps, a plant-based culinary experience, a day trip to beautiful Lucerne, a jaunt into Italy for a boat cruise and island visit on Lago Maggiore, a Brissago city tour and so much more.
And for those who want to crank up the adventure, we’ll also provide a few more adrenaline inducing optional activities to make the experience more customizable during free time.
If you’ve always wanted to visit the stunning peaks and valleys of picturesque Switzerland, this is your chance to frolic through the alps with some very inspiring vegans and a fantastic group of your brand new life-long friends.

Getaway Highlights
Saturday, August 23rd: Check-in at the always vegan Garden Hotel Primavera Brissago followed by opening night fondue dinner party.
Sunday, August 24th: Family breakfast, walking tour of Brissago with lunch at local restaurant, plus dinner and local wine tasting.
Monday, August 25th: Family breakfast, day trip to Lucerne with guided tour, lunch and family dinner.
Tuesday, August 26th: Free time to explore Ticino (optional activities to include canyoning adventure, paragliding, stand up paddle boarding and bungee jumping), culinary experience with Farmer Nick, family dinner.
Wednesday, August 27th: Family breakfast, Swiss Alps hiking experience with lunch at mountain Rifugio and family dinner.
Thursday, August 28th: Family breakfast, free time to explore Ticino, family dinner.
Friday, August 29th: Family breakfast, Ticino island boat tour into Italy with lunch followed by closing dinner.
Saturday, August 30th: Family breakfast followed by check out and goodbyes.
All meals included except lunch on day 4 and 6 during free time.

AMANDA PERSI
As a PR and event management expert, Amanda has over 15 years of experience working with everyone from Lady Gaga to Kendrick Lamar, to entrepreneurial groups, to corporate teams, and everyone in between! Having planned events and getaways in North America, Europe and Asia, she is both The Getaway Co’s founder and go-to inspiration captain!

Nick is a “plantrepreneur” who is passionate about all things green. As a full-time plant coach, urban gardener, and landscape designer, Nick’s mission is to leave the earth greener than when he found it – giving people the knowledge and confidence they need to create their own green spaces in the pursuit of environmental action and social justice.

With more than 15 years experience in the hospitality industry, in 2021 Isabella and her husband Maurizio have courageously decided to open the first vegan hotel in the Ticino region: the Garden Hotel Primavera. Their goal is to promote the vegan lifestyle with positive vibes, influencing as many guests as possible into making healthier and more respectful choices.
