A Croatian Plantasy

Beautiful Croatia! A country known for its dazzling coastline, stunning islands and the filming location for King’s Landing on Game of Thrones. 

In 2024, The Getaway Co. will embark on its maiden voyage through one of the Adriatic’s most popular destinations, alongside friend and vegan lifestyle expert Richard Makin of School Night Vegan.  

Throughout our week-long holiday experience, highlights include: time spent in both fortified Dubrovnik and the capital of the Dalmatia region, Split, a wine tasting, city tours, a boat tour through the Elaphiti islands, a cooking experience with School Night Vegan and of course lots of delicious vegan food all along the way!

As always, there will also be free time to relax and connect at both the modern and convenient Sperone Heritage Hotel Split as well as time to take in the view at the seaside Hotel Mlini just outside of  Dubrovnik. So sign up now and can’t wait to see you for our very own Croatian Plantasy!

Getaway Details

Saturday, May 18: Check in at Sperone Heritage Hotel Split followed by opening dinner party.
Sunday, May 19: Time to sleep in, breakfast at hotel, lunch in city centre, guided city tour of Split, tour of nearby village with special dinner.
Monday, May 20: Breakfast at hotel, free time to explore (no lunch will be provided on this day), group dinner in Split. 
Tuesday, May 21: Breakfast at hotel, check-out, transfer to Dubrovnik. Wine tasting experience and lunch along the way in Croatian wine region. Stop at Saltworks in Ston. Check-in at Hotel Mlini and dinner nearby. 
Wednesday, May 22: Breakfast at hotel, guided city tour of Dubrovnik old tow, lunch, hike to panorama point with dinner.
Thursday, May 23: Breakfast at hotel, free time (no lunch will be provided on this day), cooking demo with School Night Vegan, dinner in Mlini.
Friday, May 24:  Breakfast at hotel, private tour of the Elaphiti islands and special closing night dinner experience.
Saturday, May 25: Family breakfast followed by check out and goodbyes.

All meals included except lunch on day 3 and 6 to provide the opportunity for free time
The Getaway Co. groups are comprised of 15-20 participants of all ages (21+)
