Whisked Away to Italy 2025

After selling out our 2024 getaway in record time, we’re heading back to Italy for Whisked Away to Italy 2025! 

We’re incredibly excited to have the opportunity to offer you this trip for a second year in a row and it’s no wonder it’s such a popular event with the most fabulous co-host, vegan lifestyle expert Erin Ireland

As always, we’ll reside at our home away from home, Pensione Vignamaggio, and throughout the trip we’ll embark on a day of vegan wine-tastings, traverse the varied landscape of colourful Cinque Terre, go on a guided tour of historical Florence and so much more! 

We’ll also have the opportunity to indulge in a mouth-watering menu of veganized Italian food prepared by our very own private vegan chef, the fantastic Gabriele Palloni. In addition to Gabriele’s Italian vegan menu, Erin will lead us through two fun and interactive cooking experiences!  

Our Italy trips are incredibly popular because the Tuscan region boasts a magical element that words can’t properly describe. And with that we can’t wait to grab a glass of wine and watch the sunset together in 2025!

Getaway Details

Sunday, May 25th: Check-in at Pensione Vignamaggio followed by welcome drinks and opening dinner party.
Monday, May 26th: Family breakfast, wine tasting experience with lunch, dinner at hotel.
Tuesday, May 27th: Family breakfast, lunch at hotel, dinner cooking experience with Erin Ireland.
Wednesday, May 28th: Family breakfast, day trip into Florence with guided tour, free time (dinner not included on this day). 
Thursday, May 29th: Family breakfast, free time (lunch not included on this day), dinner cooking experience with Erin Ireland.
Friday, May 30th: Family breakfast, Cinque Terre excursion with lunch, dinner at hotel.
Saturday, May 31st: Family breakfast, free time, lunch at villa, time to pack and enjoy Panzano, closing night dinner.
Sunday, June 1st: Family breakfast followed by check out and goodbyes.

The Getaway Co. groups are comprised of 15-20 participants of all ages (21+)

About Your Hosts

Amanda Persi

AMANDA PERSI

As a PR and event management expert, Amanda has over 15 years of experience working with everyone from Lady Gaga to Kendrick Lamar, to entrepreneurial groups, to corporate teams, and everyone in between! Having planned events and getaways in North America, Europe and Asia, she is both The Getaway Co’s founder and go-to inspiration captain!

Erin Ireland is the owner of Vancouver’s To Live For Bakery and Cafe, as well as, a recipe developer, content creator and animal rights advocate.  A former TEDx speaker, she shares her knowledge and experiences to support other plant-based entrepreneurs globally in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of vegan eating.

Born and raised in Florence, Italy, Gabriele has worked as a chef in countless creative formats, has written three vegan cookbooks, and collaborates on all kinds of exciting vegan projects in Italy and beyond. Gabriele owns a vegan B&B in Florence, and works as a home chef spreading his message of antispeciesism across the nation.
