WE ARE BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!
After taking Bali by storm with Australia’s finest vegan content creators Liz Miu and Zac Bird in 2022, we are back in 2023 for what promises to be the Canggu-based getaway of a lifetime!
This September, join us for what we now know for sure, will be the most fun anyone has ever had in Bali! Liz and Zac will be on site throughout the course of the week to host cooking experiences with the group, hang out, answer your questions and help lead us through a jam packed itinerary of fun and excitement
As always, we will also dive into the Balinese culture, visit a relaxing beach club, traverse a volcano in the middle of the night, visit the rice terraces of beautiful Ubud, hang by the beach, get relaxing massages and connect with our new group of fabulous friends.
On this trip, we will once again be staying with our partners at Theanna Eco Villa and Spa which means private pools and semi-outdoor showers for everyone! Hurray! This trip will undoubtedly sell out, so sign up post haste! Can’t wait to see you there.

Tuesday, September 5: Check in and get comfortable, welcome drinks and opening dinner party
Wednesday, September 6: Breakfast, Ubud Excursion (visit to Tegalalang rice terraces, lunch with a view, free time for shopping)
Thursday, September 7: Breakfast, free time, cooking experience with the legendary Zac Bird, The Vegan Butcher
Friday, September 8: Breakfast, Cultural Excursion (visit to Ulun Danu Temple, Banyumala Waterfall and lunch with a view)
Saturday, September 9: Breakfast, animal welfare lunch with BAWA (Bali Animal Welfare Association), free time over dinner
Sunday, September 10: Breakfast, free time, cooking experience with the queen of cooking experiences Liz Miu, dinner, go to bed early!
Monday, September 11: Up at 2am! Volcano Hike Excursion, early lunch at villa, time to sleep
Tuesday, September 12: Breakfast, free time to relax, family dinner at restaurant in Canggu.
Wednesday, September 13: Breakfast, Beach Day Excursion (visit to a sandy beach, luxury beach club with lunch and Kecak fire dance)
Thursday, September 14: Breakfast, free time, closing night family dinner.
Friday, September 15: Breakfast, check-out and goodbyes.

Liz miu
Liz Miu is a cook, baker and foodie from Sydney who showcases how delicious a plant-based life can be through her spunky videos on social media. She is the founder of Mylk and Bun, a vegan cinnamon scroll market stall, which is taking the Sydney vegan scene by storm! Liz loves connecting to her asian heritage through cooking and veganizing childhood favourites.
ZACCHARY BIRD
Zacchary Bird is the number one dancing vegan butcher in the world. He is the award winning cookbook author of ‘Vegan Junk Food’ and ‘The Vegan Butcher’, with his third book on the way. He has been celebrating veganism for 8 years as a writer, chef, dancer, comedian, editor and social media personality. Join us in Bali and he might just show you some dance moves.
ALIE RANTI
Born and raised in Canggu, Alie is a bona fide expert in all things Bali! Having studied event management and executed not one but TWO Getaway Co. events in her first year with the company, Alie has proven herself invaluable to the company’s on the ground team in Bali. Alie also works as The Getaway Co.’s general assistant and is always eager to help our fabulous guests.
