Live With Purpose Bali holds a very special place in our hearts as it was the event in 2019 that launched The Getaway Co. We are so pleased to have the opportunity to continue providing our community with this fun, exciting, relaxing and connective experience – this time from the stunning Theanna Eco Villa in lively Canggu which means which means private pools and semi-outdoor showers for everyone!
Hosted by Lauren Toyota from hot for food, all of the elements of the Getaway, from the vegan food, to the personal connections, to the excursions are designed to help participants live life with compassion and purpose.
As always, we will also dive into the Balinese culture, visit a relaxing beach club, traverse a volcano in the middle of the night, visit the rice terraces of beautiful Ubud, hang at a beach club, get relaxing massages, organize an animal welfare event, and connect with our new group of fabulous friends.

Saturday, September 7: Check in and get comfortable, welcome drinks and opening dinner party with traditional dance performance
Sunday, September 8: Breakfast, Ubud Excursion (visit to Tegalalang rice terraces, group lunch, free time for shopping)
Monday, September 9: Breakfast, free time, cooking experience with Lauren Toyota
Tuesday, September 10: Breakfast, Cultural Excursion (visit to Ulun Danu Temple, Banyumala Waterfall and lunch)
Wednesday, September 11: Breakfast, free time to relax, family dinner at restaurant in Canggu.
Thursday, September 12: Up at 2am! Volcano Hike Excursion, early lunch at villa, time to sleep
Friday, September 13: Breakfast, free time, cooking experience with Lauren Toyota, dinner
Saturday, September 14: Breakfast, animal welfare lunch with Bali Animal Welfare Association, free time over dinner
Sunday, September 15: Breakfast, Beach Day Excursion, (visit luxury beach club with lunch and Kecak fire dance)
Monday, September 16: Breakfast, free time, closing night family dinner.
Tuesday, September 17: Breakfast, check-out and goodbyes.

Cherie is The Getaway Co.’s Bali event coordinator, resident content creator and an invaluable asset to our team. She made the switch to a vegan lifestyle seven years ago and never looked back. Cherie has spent time visiting different parts of Indonesia, travelling around Maluku, Java and Bali, discovering the incredible plant-based food scene and studying Bahasa Indonesia.
